Cześć,
Abortion is illegal in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
You can help.
Welcome to
ASN8 Náid
The first in a monthly compilation series in aid of reproductive rights charity the Abortion Support Network (ASN) - an organisation that helps women in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man get safe access to abortions they would otherwise be blocked from by law and or economic status.
Each month, acts of human permitting, we’ll be releasing eclectic mixes of pop, punk, electronic music, noise, folk, rock, experimental and on.
Many of the tracks have been composed especially for this compilation.
Some like Zrazy’s 6794700, were written about 25 years ago!
Paranoid Visions’ Strange Girl was written in protest about 33 years ago!
Currently we have 70 artists and want more!
The Bandcamp is set up so that all purchases go directly to ASN’s paypal. Bandcamp have kindly reduced their tax to 10%. This can be verified via Bandcamp and the ASN.

More About the ASN
"Every year thousands of women travel from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland to England for abortions. These women have to pay to travel to England and must have an abortion as a private patient, which costs anywhere from £400 to £2000, and sometimes more. Other costs are often incurred, including accommodation, childcare and time off work.
In both Northern Ireland (despite being part of the UK) and the Republic of Ireland, abortion is illegal in almost all circumstances and it is virtually impossible for women to access an abortion legally. In both countries, however, women can legally travel abroad for an abortion and information can be provided about accessing abortions abroad (under certain conditions). In the Isle of Man there is no provision of abortion, and in the Channel Islands provision is more limited than in Britain.
According to data from the Department of Health, in 2015, 4,389 abortions were performed in England and Wales (the vast majority in England) on women resident in Ireland of which 3,451 comprised women resident in the Republic of Ireland, 833 women resident in Northern Ireland, and 105 from the Isle of Man. In total, since 1968, over 200,000 abortions are estimated to have been performed in England and Wales on women travelling from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (Rossiter, 2009). The actual numbers of women having abortions are likely to be much higher, with some women giving a false British address, travelling to other countries to access abortions, or accessing early medical abortion pills from the internet."
